Motif is the newest design range from Tcity Jewellers: a collection of rings, pendants and earrings that presents the signature Tcity design in different layouts, inviting you to create a piece that is entirely your own.
More than a souvenir
It's often said that the best things we can buy are memories, and that life's most priceless moments are experiences. That's why so many of us love to bring home something special from the places we visit: a keepsake, a visual link to the moment, something we can share with others. Over the years, our clients have told us this is one of the reasons they buy jewellery when they travel. Jewellery is small, meaningful, useful and lasting. It carries the memory of where it came from while becoming part of the story of the person who wears it.

Designed and made in Australia
Motif was created with quality in mind. Its features reflect our beautiful part of the world here in Townsville, and every piece is carefully designed to be made properly, in small production runs, by Australian producers. Because style is personal and beauty is subjective, we want the Tcity story to show not only in how our pieces look, but in how they're made.
Clean, modern surfaces with a refined flat finish let light and shadow play across each piece, creating a luxurious look that never feels heavy. Smooth surfaces and understated forms give the collection an effortless sophistication: clarity of finish, comfort, and the quiet confidence we want Tcity pieces to be known for.
Generous proportions, everyday comfort
Every piece is generously proportioned, with a pleasing weight and thickness that gives it a sense of quality and presence. Yet every detail has been considered for comfortable everyday wear. Inside each ring, soft comfort curves sit smoothly against the skin with no sharp edges, while the flat outer edges are gently pencil-rounded to keep the design clean, balanced and easy to wear.
Meaning, carried close
Motif showcases everything that makes Tcity unique, while leaving room for what makes you unique. Shape your piece around your own style, your story and the words you choose to carry with you, whether that's a private engraving, a personal mantra, initials, dates or symbols that speak to your journey.
An engraving is a quiet reminder worn against the skin each day. It might be a phrase that keeps you grounded (stay kind, stay humble, stay present) or words that call you toward gratitude, joy, opportunity, prosperity or spiritual growth. For some, it's about affirmation; for others, focus, courage or remembering what matters most. The meaning never needs explaining to anyone else. It only needs to be true for you. Some of the ideas that inspire us include:
· The law of attraction: the idea that "like attracts like", and that our thoughts, feelings and energy can influence the experiences we draw into our lives.
· Visualisation: imagining your goals in vivid, sensory detail, as though you have already achieved them.
· Affirmations: positive, present-tense statements that strengthen belief in your direction, your growth and your ability to succeed.
· Aligned action: manifestation is more than wishing; it takes deliberate, practical steps toward your goals.

It's a powerful reminder of what it can mean to carry your own words, engraved inside your ring, every day.
Design your own piece
The personal design process is where Motif truly comes to life. Start by choosing your ring width from five options, each named to help you find the proportions that suit your hands. (Width is measured along the length of the finger; thickness is the depth of the band from the inner surface to the outer edge.)
· Petite (3.8 mm): our finest width, for lovers of delicate rings. Perfect for stacking or as an accent alongside other rings.
· Ma Cherie (5.5 mm): a medium width that looks elegant on its own.
· LeLuxe (6.6 mm): the widest of our stamped rings. Wear it as a feature ring with finer bands stacked on either side.
· Prestige (8 mm): a wide band, found in our filigree cut-out designs.
· Imperiale: our boldest and largest offering, for those who love an impactful statement piece.
Motif stamped rings
Our stamped rings are named for the imprinted flower design spaced evenly around the band. Choose four, five or six stamps; the six-stamp version alternates flowers and diamonds, so it can also represent three. Your number might stand for family members or hold meaning in numerology, and the stamps can incorporate the birth dates and birthstones of the wearer or their loved ones, making every ring beautifully personal.
Terra and Lunar
As Motif evolved with input from many people, two flower designs emerged as favourites, and preferences can even vary with the width of the band:
· Terra: the simple flower stamp, representing all things earth: growth, life, sunshine, birth and the natural world around us.
· Lunar: the flower encircled, representing all things spiritual: tides, moon phases, connection and the emotional world within us.
Engrave your mantra
Once you've chosen your design, all that's left is to add your affirmation. Think about what inspires you or carries special meaning for you. Most rings can fit up to 40 characters inside (spaces included). With an inspiring message engraved inside, a Motif ring also makes a meaningful gift for a graduation or other milestone.
