Australian Lightening Ridge Opal Ring

Lightning Ridge solid Black Opal Dress ring featuring a natural Gem with green and Aqua flash patterns over a blue base.  The Round shape and high dome of the cabochon gem in the blue green colour combination looks like a miniature earth globe. The design of the Hand-made ring compliments this showcasing a nautical globe theme accented by square shaped end claws and tapered baguette like pointers on the shoulders. The setting bezel is curved and features a mill grain edge with six spaced claws like the points on a map compass rose.  The ring is made in 18ct yellow gold with tiny white gold features to secure the Diamonds on a half round band with comfort curve. Ring can be sized to suit your requirements.

Black Opal is amongst the rarest types of opal with a solid stone cut with the colour bar orientated across black silica material to give a natural backing featuring the gems colours. Only a very small amount of mined opal has these desirable features.
