Australian Opal Caldron Ring

This lovely Handmade 14ct White Gold and Rose Gold ring features a sultry grey base Australian lightning ridge opal. It is called the cauldron ring because of the nature of the opal, a smoky grey that appears to swirl and reveal intense greens, orange, red, yellow, blue and purple colours as you orientate the gem. The face of the gem features a unique broad colour flash appearing from specific directions that appears to float on the surface.  

The ring design compliments the mystical feel of the opal with a highly polished bevel in the case and uber long fine rose gold claws reminiscent of talons. The shoulders are decorated with stiletto pointed details containing Grain-set Diamonds and a Mill-Grain edge. Underneath is a Saw pierced filigree pattern in rose gold. The band has signature very high chamfer edge that leaves the band strong but very refined when viewed from the top. This beautiful bespoke piece is handmade in Australia and can be resized to suit your requirements.
