Australian Opal Caldron Ring

An Enchanting Handmade 14ct White Gold and 18ct Rose Gold Marquise Dress ring featuring a soft colored Australian lightning ridge opal. The cauldron ring is so named for the nature of the opal, a smoky grey that appears to swirl and reveals intense green, orange, red, yellow, blue and purple color flashes as you orientate the gem. The face of the gem features a unique broad color flash appearing from specific directions that appears to float on the surface.  

The ring design compliments the mystical feel of the opal with a highly polished bevel in the case and uber long fine rose gold claws reminiscent of talons. The shoulders are decorated with stiletto pointed details containing Grain-set Diamonds and a beaded Mill-Grain edge. Underneath the setting is a Saw pierced filigree crossover pattern finished in rose gold. The band has our signature very high chamfer edge that leaves the band strong but very refined when viewed from the top. This beautiful bespoke piece is handmade in Australia and can be resized to suit your requirements.
